Winter Blues | NJ Photographer

I have been having some serious winter blues. I feel stuck these days. Paralyzed by the cold weather. Unmotivated to leave the house.

Do you ever feel like that?

All this inside activity has my mind racing in a million directions. My journals are literally overflowing with ideas, experiences, products, workshops, things to do - try - read. But I feel stuck and disheartened. Not sure about any of it. Not ready to jumpstart.

Sure, it's part winter. But I think it has a lot to do with FEAR and trying a new path for myself and my business. But my heart wants to play bigger.

This morning when I opened my email and read Susannah Conway's newsletter , I found a sign that I am on the right path. This slow-mo stage may all be part of the process. Thank you Susannah for sharing this  :

You were not born to play a small role in life... There is something — a vision or an idea — that is coming for you. You may worry that it is too much, but don’t worry. It is meant to be yours... You are being asked to remember that when something is right for you, endless synchronicities and support will flow your way, at the right time and in the right way. Stay open, receptive, playful and surrendered. Even if everything seems to be in a bit of a shambles now, it’s really just the essential mess before a truly spectacular success.

We should all have B I G dreams. It's what drives us to be better and to evolve.

So for now, I will keep brainstorming, journaling and dreaming. I will let my curiosity and ideas warm me up until the winter melts away.
