page turner | nj family photographer

One of my favorite things to do when I visit my child hood home is to pull out our old family albums. The ones with the spiral binding, the browning pages and the plastic covers that stick.  I love holding the book in my hands and turning the pages to see old memories. I love sharing the stories with my children and laughing at old hairstyles and clothing choices. There is something so special about holding an album in your hands and reliving moments from our past.

Even though taking photos is so much easier now. It seems our lives are too busy to take the time to print out photos or create an album. Instead, we scroll through Facebook to catch up on old memories. We have lost the ritual of sharing the family album.

Well, my hope is to bring the family album back!  I make sure to offer my clients a beautiful photo book of their session. These memories and moments are our stories, our legacy. They are meant to be kept and shared and celebrated.  I take care of designing and printing it so all you have to do is enjoy it. It makes me so happy when I see these books on their coffee tables and in the hands of grandparents and children.

If you're ready to organize your photos and create an album, check out Kolo for inspiration. Or better yet, let me take care of it for you!

(FYI, the photo books below are created at a professional photography lab and not from Kolo).
