i just returned from a photography workshop in grand rapids, michigan taught by one of my favorite photographers, amy wenzel. it was an amazing experience both professionally and personally. not only did i learn new skills and tricks from someone i've admired (& stalked) over the years. but i also met a wonderful group of women photographers who are on a similar journey as me. plus, i was able to travel by myself! something i haven't done in years and probably won't be able to do again for awhile (considering my baby is due in 5 weeks). 3 full days of shooting, computer and classroom time. every step of the way, amy wenzel was approachable, fun and really "one of the girls". she was willing to answer any of our questions, big or small. and her sense of style and attention to detail was remarkable. i learned a ton and now feel excited, inspired and motivated to take my biz to the next level.
there are lots of images to share, both kids and senior teens. so here is round one for the kiddos. check back tomorrow for more!
